My goodness I have no idea where the summer has gone. For us in Texas it has definitely been a summer of rain and now lots of heat. I can't believe that school starts next week.

The good news is that the house is finished. I got the siding installed and painted, the pest people have come and, as of Saturday, the garage door opener is installed and I'm using the garage for my car. That is so awesome. I still have a few things on the list to finish. I need to paint the shed out back to match the house and to do some landscaping. That will all happen in time. Right now it's too hot to do much outside. I am excited because my best friend is going to help with the landscaping. She's working on finding easy to care for shrubs for me. It may take a while but it will all get finished.

I want to take this time to thank everyone who has helped me this summer to get all these projects done. Thank you Erin and Terry for your help with the trees. Thank you Terry, James and Tom for the help with the garage door opener. That was a double thank you to Terry because he has been there whenever I need him. He's the best son-in-law I could ask for. I also want to thank Missy and Serif for always being there helping and giving us moral support. I am blessed with wonderful friends and family. I couldn't have done it without all of you.
